Viewing experimental data
Managing the experiment list
Experimental data from the LIPID MAPS database can be plotted for a pathway's nodes. To get a list of currently loaded experiments:
- From the "Tools" menu, choose "Manage experiments...". A window is presented that lists experiments. Initially, it is empty.

Searching the experiment database
You can load experiments from the LIPID MAPS database:

- Optionally, type in a keyword to be found in experiment descriptions.
- Press the "Search" button to search the database. Results are listed in the box below.
- Select the experiment to load and press the "Add" button. The window will close and the experiment will be added to the experiment list.
Viewing experimental data
You can view plots and raw data for any loaded experiment:
- Get the experiment list.
- Select an experiment to view.
- Press the "Show info..." button to present a window showing information about the experiment.

- The upper part of the window describes the experiment.
- On the lower left is a list of compounds measured in the experiment. Select one to show its plot in the middle, and its data on the right.
Selecting experiments to plot in the pathway
Plots of experiment data are shown in the pathway next to the appropriate node icons. You can select which experiment(s) to plot:
