Changing your view
Moving side to side
You can move the pathway side to side:
- In the pathway window, slide the bottom horizontal scrollbar left and right to pan the pathway.
Moving up and down
You can move the pathway up and down:
- In the pathway window, slide the right-hand vertical scrollbar up and down to pan the pathway.
Zooming in and out
You can zoom in and out on the pathway:
- In the pathway window, do one of the following.
- In the "View" menu, choose "Zoom in" to make the pathway bigger, and "Zoom out" to make it smaller.
- On the toolbar, press the magnifying glass button with the "+" to make the pathway bigger, and the one with a "-" to make it smaller.
- Use the mouse wheel button, rotating it towards you to zoom in and make the pathway bigger, and away from you to zoom out.
- You can reset the view by selecting "Reset view" from the "View" menu.
Tilting forward and back
You can tilt the pathway into 3D:
- In the pathway window, do one of the following.
- In the "View" menu, choose "Tilt down " to tilt the top of the pathway down and away, and "Tilt up" to do the reverse.
- On the toolbar, press the curved arrow button that points to the right and down to tilt the top of the pathway down and away, and the other arrow button do the reverse.
- Use the mouse wheel button while holding down the CONTROL key on your keyboard, rotating it away from you to tilt down, and towards you to tilt up.
- You can reset the view by selecting "Reset tilt " from the "View" menu.

The Pathway Editor uses your computer's 3D drawing hardware to speed up pathway drawing and to enable several 3D layering features planned for the future. Until then, pathway tilting is interesting, but not all that useful.
